Spending All Your Time In The Past
Do you find yourself stuck in the past?
Perhaps you would say no to that question. But what if I asked in a different way...
Do you find yourself stuck looking at old photo albums over and over, and you are filled with regret? Or perhaps looking through your closet at old items that are tied to people formerly in your life?
Now there isn't anything wrong with going back and revisiting those things.
But what if you're stuck there. Days... months... years going by and you are still holding onto what was, but is no longer?
That's spending all your time in the past. Because you could be spending your time building a new future.
Think about that. All the time you spending with your brain and heart thinking about things in the past, could instead be focused on fixing your current life situation or even better making the changes needed to move your life forward towards what you really want.
I don't have a deep profound "silver bullet statement" for ya on this. Because the reality is you are stuck only as long as you want to be stuck. Only as long as you choose to remain in the past, or even the present for that matter.
Instead of offering you a profound statement. I will just ask you a simple question.
How's that working out for ya?
