Pray About What...

In a message my pastor gave recently. He stated (paraphrased):

"Pray about what you care about. If it's on your heart, it's on God's heart"

Seems pretty standard. And it is. But have you actually slowed down and thought about it? Seriously, slow the heck down and absorb those words.

"If it's on your heart, it's on God's heart"

So the creator of the universe, an all power omipresent being, has the things on my puny heart... on His heart?! How's that work? Why would that be true? Aren't there bigger things in the universe to be concerned about? Like black holes, comets, corruption, fallen angels... you know. The big stuff!

Yet it's true. God takes the time to care about what you care about. He cares about your situation. He cares about your details. He cares about your heart. You just have to let him into your life, that's all.

I can ramble on and on about this. But what's the point. At the end of the day is just a simple question.

Do you want the creator of the universe to care about what's on YOUR heart or not?

After all, it's your choice to include Him in your life.
