Give Others What You Give Yourself

It’s funny how we can make mistakes. Sin. Whatever. And then move on the next day. We make changes. We work to improve or stop doing that. But yet bitterness is one of those things that keeps us from doing that same thing for others.

We can forget about that mistake we made last year. Literally forget about it. Yet we’re still toiling over what that other person did for weeks? Months? Years?

Of course I’m not talking about abuse, or deception or anything. Those are different beasts to process and heal from. And I’m also not talking about hurts or betrayals where the guilty person is not sorry or cannot accept they’re wrong.

Everyone makes mistakes. You move on from your mistakes, no matter how bad they were. Can you give that same to others? If they acknowledge their mistake, they can change right? They can change and lead a powerful successful life going forward, just like we’re doing!
