Don’t Let the Pain and Mistakes of the Past Form Your Habits Today and Tomorrow

Sometimes we're just running on autopilot without realizing, until we're in a mess again, that we're heading in a bad direction again. We've returned to the mess, although a different version of it, we just go ourselves out of.

One of the many lessons of the journey I am on is that it's easy to get stuck because of the habits in our past. We've made soo many mistakes, and while we learned from them we didn't necessarily pay attention to how those mistakes also made habits in us. And that is why we keep making the same mistakes, even after we've learned from them.

Sometimes we're just running on autopilot without realizing, until we're in a mess again, that we're heading in a bad direction again. We've returned to the mess, although a different version of it, we just go ourselves out of.

Now you might say:

"That's not happening to me!"

But in reality you are closed off from others, because you've followed that broken habit again. And that is how those bad habits always get you. They get you trapped in your own head, in your long standing habits, disconnected from the people that would support you.

Now hearing that you might say:

"Crap, how do I stop this cycle?!" or "Am I doomed to repeat this forever? Should I just give up?"

My answer to you is not an answer, but a question:

Why do you think you HAVE to continue this?"

Think about it.
