Are We Really That Different Now?

I definitely understand things were different 70 years ago. But are liberals (the real ones, not the cult of people calling themselves liberals these days) and conservatives that different from each other in 2024?

Aren't liberals trying to conserve the achievements of the last 70 years and rejecting the new cult trying to remove the autonomy of the individual? 🤔

Both liberals and conservatives want to maintain the society we built over the last 100 years, rather than tear it down and replace it with this new government which:

Let's mobs burn down businesses and people's homes, just because they are "offended"
Promotes openly racist mass protests
Will put you in prison for years without trial or even taking you to court
Will send federal agents to follow you for simply not reporting the same way the legacy media does
Takes away women's rights and protections immediately if a single man wants something
Releases large amounts of rapists and pedophiles from jail early
Demands pornography be taught to 3rd graders and even younger
Openly admits they want to take parents rights away, and give those rights to the government

Below are the definitions I found. If you remove the lens of the past and look a them through the lens of 2024, are we really that different now?
